Theology on Thursday

We are a group committed to life-long learning.  Anyone interested in exploring their faith is welcome to join us on Thursdays from 12:00-1:30 PM!  We have covered a wide range of topics, from creation care, to social statements on immigration and abortion, to Bible Studies.  No matter your interest or experience, there is something for you here!

The Book of Acts

Sewing Ministry

Our sewing ministry group is a friendly bunch who do a variety of projects throughout the year.  We make quilts and baby care kits for Lutheran World Relief and cat beds for the Steuben County Humane Society.  All skill levels are welcome to join us in this ministry, you do not even need to know how to sew!  We meet the first two Tuesdays of each month between 9 AM- 3:30 PM.  We hope to see you there!  

Cooking Ministry

Our cooking ministry team enjoys both cooking and sharing our food with others!  We donate the food we cook to the United Methodist Church’s Food Pantry for distribution to people in the community.  If you like cooking and/or have a passion for feeding those in need, then this is the group for you!  If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact us for further information.

Choir

If you like making a joyful noise to the Lord, then our choir is the place for you!  Seasonally, we meet on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.  No singing experience needed!

Women of the ELCA (WELCA)

We have two small groups for women at Calvary, known as “Circles.”  Each Circle meets monthly and spends time in fellowship, prayer, and Bible Study.  All women are welcome to join us in this ministry!  If you would like to learn more, let us know!

Men’s Fellowship

This small group for men meets on the second Saturday of the month from 2:00-4:00 PM.  We spend time together, support each other, and have fun as a group.  We would love to have you join us!
